Optical Test Access

We fully understand the testing requirements for an Optic Fibre Network and offer the following solution based on the UTEL Optical Time Domain Reflecometer (OTDR) and Optical Switch.

To fully utilise the OTDR it is connected to a switch that can connect to a number of optical fibre paths. This is acheived using a Wavelength Division Multiplexor (WDM) or a cheaper 2x2 Splitter. The switch is designed with an attached tray to hold excess fibre cable and any splitters required.
